One Piece chapter 577 Predictions and Discussion

Man Japanese manga loves the theatrics, Whitebeard dieing while standing takes after the legend of Benkei. A Japanese warrior way back I can't remember when or what battle, but Benkei died standing fighting the enemy off, his body froze in rigour through combination of his determination, and his hightened blood pressure level quickened the rigor process so he died standing.



But this is quite the turn of events, Whitebeard dies, and the marines and the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates find a common enemy. The marines are exhausted from the fighting, the Whitebeard pirates are retreating, and Blackbeard is taking over. Well that would sum up the only prediction I can think of. Blackbeard is going to topple the HQ and whether he spares the marines or not I don't know. But one thing is for certain, Blackbeard doesn't seem to hold the marines as allies anymore.



Luffy is still unable to do anything since his mentality has collapsed, Dragon has yet to do anything, Shanks hasn't made a move assuming he is going to do more than just clash with Kaidou.



Here's one question I would like to ask everyone: "How do you think the sides are going play their hands?"



What do I mean by that? well, we know that Blackbeard has tossed aside his status, and the marines most likley won't assume Blackbeard as an ally. Well, the answers more or less become something like this.



1. It will become a Four Way War. New World Pirates vs. Blackbeard Pirates vs. Marines/World Government vs. Dragon and Revolutionaries.



2. Marines are going to side with the New World Pirates to kill Blackbeard and the newly escaped prisoners.



3. Dragon, or some other powerful figure is going to appear, and give the Whitebeard pirates a chance to escape, and if the Marines are going to immediatley establish themselves as enemies to Blackbeard and his crew then they will escape as well.



Basically the answers would more revolve on the sides that will take part in this war I can see coming.



Here's another thing I would like to ask everyone: "What will the Shichibukai do?"



1. Side with Blackbeard



2. Fight against Whitebeard



well this answer could vary depending on the person. Example Kuma is programed to be loyal to teh government so he will go which ever way the government will go. Mihawk is the "Honorable" figure and most likley won't side with Blackbeard. Boa Hancock will DEFINITLEY fight against Blackbeard as she is aware that Blackbeard is the reason Ace was captured and is the indirect reason of Luffy's current mental condition. Doflamingo, well he fits the "shady, yet unpredictable" figure so he could go either way, but due to his character, and how he doesn't seem to hold a line of morality (Mostly because he heads the Human Auction), he might side with the government, or he will side with Blackbeard, I can't tell with any certainty.

Well that's all I really have to say for now, so who knows. ANYWAY all opinions are welcome. I encourage the expression of opinion and conversation. I discourage argueing, insulting, hurtful talk, and foul language.
